„Ceața mentală” din menopauză ar putea fi ameliorată cu un tratament hormonal. Ce au descoperit cercetătorii

A hormonal treatment combining estriol and progesterone may alleviate cognitive symptoms in menopausal women, according to a UCLA Health study. Preliminary results show significant improvements in mental clarity and cognitive functions after 12 months of therapy. Estriol, a natural estrogen, differs from the commonly used estradiol and may protect nerve cells. However, researchers caution that findings are based on a small observational study without a placebo group, necessitating further clinical trials.
