Cea mai puternică armată din Africa avertizează Etiopia din cauza mega-barajului de pe Nil: „Nu există loc pentru compromis”

During the UN General Assembly, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly emphasized the Nile's significance beyond economic value, asserting Egypt's commitment to protect its water rights amid ongoing disputes with Ethiopia. He highlighted the Nile as essential for Egypt's existence and called for cooperation over shared water resources. Madbouly warned against unilateral actions and stressed the need for international agreements. The tensions stem from Ethiopia's Grand Renaissance Dam, which Egypt views as a threat to its water security, while Ethiopia sees it as vital for energy and economic sovereignty.
