Turkey will host the 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) and the UN Climate Change Conference COP31 in 2026, making Antalya a key international dialogue hub. The city, known for its Mediterranean coast and rich history, is well-equipped for large-scale events. This year's IAC, taking place from October 5-9 in Belek, gathers space agencies, technology companies, astronauts, and researchers to share knowledge and shape the future of the space sector. The 2026 edition will feature over 10,000 participants and focus on sustainable space exploration under the theme "The World Needs More Space." Activities will include debates, innovative project presentations, and workshops, fostering interaction between astronauts and the global space community, especially students and young professionals.
