Cea mai mare instalație de stocare a energiei din Europa Centrală și de Est va fi la Scornicești. Proiectul BESS, dezvoltat de polonezi

Polish developer R.Power is nearing completion of its first large-scale BESS project in Romania, BESS Scornicești, with a capacity of 127 MW/254 MWh. This facility will be among the largest in Central and Eastern Europe. Construction began in spring 2026, with significant progress made in the last three months. The project will connect directly to Romania's high-voltage national grid, enhancing the country's energy stability. R.Power secured €46 million in funding, with contributions from the EBRD and BGK. BESS Scornicești is part of R.Power's extensive energy storage portfolio in the region, which totals 0.9 GW/3 GWh in operation and construction.
