Cea mai mare companie auto chineză promite investiții de „ordinul sutelor de milioane de dolari” în România. Anunțul făcut la București de vicepreședinta companiei BYD

Chinese automotive giant BYD plans to invest hundreds of millions of dollars in Romania to develop electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Stella Li, the company's vice president, announced this during her visit to Bucharest. BYD aims to introduce Flash Charging technology, allowing rapid charging of electric cars. The company has already established a factory in Szeged, Hungary, and is exploring additional locations for production in Europe. Despite its expansion plans, Romania is not currently a target for new manufacturing facilities due to market size and electricity costs. BYD has seen significant sales growth in Europe, surpassing Ford in new car registrations.
