„Cea mai gravă perturbare din ultimii 80 de ani”: OMC avertizează că exporturile mondiale s-ar putea prăbuși cu 27%. De ce România este vulnerabilă
The World Trade Organization warns that the global trading system is facing unprecedented disruptions, potentially leading to a significant decline in global exports and GDP by 2050. In a severe scenario, fragmentation could reduce exports by nearly 27% and global GDP by 6.9%. Romania, heavily reliant on EU markets, would be particularly affected by these changes. The report highlights the risks of geopolitical tensions and trade barriers, which could lead to job losses and increased costs. However, a more favorable scenario exists where strengthening WTO rules could boost global exports by 18%.
