Cea mai apropiată planetă de Soare își poate dezvălui secretele. BepiColombo ajunge la destinație după aproape opt ani

The BepiColombo mission is nearing its final stage of arrival at Mercury after nearly eight years and 10 billion kilometers traveled. This joint project by ESA and JAXA aims to provide unprecedented insights into the least explored terrestrial planet near the Sun. Launched in October 2018, the mission involves complex maneuvers, including gravitational assists and electric propulsion. The two scientific probes, MPO and Mio, are set to enter orbit around Mercury on November 21, with separation planned for December 9-10. The mission will investigate Mercury's surface, magnetic field, and exosphere, potentially transforming our understanding of the planet.
