Cea de-a XXVIII-a ediţie a Festivalului Internaţional George Enescu - între 27 august şi 26 septembrie 2027

The 28th edition of the George Enescu International Festival is scheduled for August 27 to September 26, 2027, with advanced preparations underway. The festival aims to maintain its international prestige and credibility, with a budget estimated at approximately 73.9 million lei. The program will feature around 112 concerts in Bucharest, including a special opening piece commissioned from composer Livia Teodorescu-Ciocănea. The festival will also highlight Beethoven's legacy, coinciding with the 200th anniversary of his death, and will continue to promote the laureates of the George Enescu International Competition. Ticket sales are expected to begin in January 2027.
