Ce urmează după oprirea completă a centralei de la Cernavodă. Expert: "Nu mai discutăm despre prețuri, ci despre cine va fi deconectat"

Romania faces a critical energy situation as both reactors at Cernavoda may shut down, leading to a significant energy deficit. The national energy production could drop to 4,200-4,300 MW while consumption may exceed 8,000 MW, necessitating heavy reliance on imports. The director of Cernavoda announced a controlled shutdown of Unit 2, which could exacerbate the situation. The analysis indicates that without nuclear energy, Romania would need to import nearly 2,500 MW, which is almost 60% of its remaining production. The energy crisis is compounded by regional competition for energy imports and potential supply issues from neighboring countries, particularly Bulgaria. The situation may require administrative measures to reduce consumption, including controlled disconnections.
