Ce spune ministrul desemnat al Energiei despre controversatul proiect al mini-reactoarelor nucleare de la Doicești: „Este un element prioritar pentru mine”

Dumitru Chisăliță, the designated Minister of Energy, emphasized the need for a thorough analysis of the controversial small modular reactors project in Doicești. He stated that decisions should be based on competitiveness and real technical-economic evaluations. Chisăliță considers this project a priority and plans to request a comprehensive assessment. Meanwhile, Nuclearelectrica is reviewing other American technologies and has proposed scaling down the RoPower project due to unmet investment conditions. The Doicești project, initiated in September 2022, aims to build six small reactors but faces scrutiny over costs and funding amidst other significant nuclear investments in Romania.
