Ce spune, de fapt, viața sexuală despre relația de cuplu: mai mult sex nu înseamnă mai multă iubire

A new study challenges the belief that more love leads to more sex in relationships. It reveals that sexual frequency does not indicate the intensity of love. The research, published in Current Sexual Health Reports, analyzed data from the Romantic Love Survey 2022, involving around 1,500 participants from 33 countries. While romantic feelings correlate with higher sexual frequency, love intensity does not dictate how often partners engage in sex. The study also notes that younger couples tend to have more frequent sexual encounters compared to long-term partners. Factors like communication, relationship quality, and personal context significantly influence sexual desire, indicating that love intensity is not the sole determinant of sexual activity.
