Cristina Trăilă, deputy secretary general of the Bolojan government, is under criminal investigation by DNA for alleged influence peddling. The government has stated she is currently on leave and no information about her resignation has been received. Trăilă is accused of aiding businessman Fănel Bogos in efforts to replace the DSVSA Vaslui director for personal gain. This marks her as the second liberal politician implicated in the Bogos case, following former PNL treasurer Mihai Barbu, who is also under judicial control.
