Ce se întâmplă cu ajutoarele pentru persoanele cu handicap oferite de Primăria Capitalei? Decizia luată azi • Newsweek România

The Bucharest City Council has approved significant cuts to social benefits for people with disabilities, pregnant women, and mothers. The monthly allowance of 500 lei for 52,000 individuals with disabilities will be suspended due to budget constraints. Additionally, the monthly support for children with disabilities will be reduced, with only those classified as severely disabled maintaining the full amount. The Materna voucher program, which provided financial support to new mothers, has been eliminated. Changes to the newborn incentive have also been made, reducing the amount and limiting eligibility to specific categories of mothers. These decisions aim to address the city's financial challenges.
