Ce se ascunde în hrana pentru pisici: metale grele, pesticide și chimicale din plastic, descoperite la teste

A recent investigation revealed that nearly all cat food products tested contain harmful contaminants like lead, arsenic, and cadmium. The analysis covered 100 popular products, showing that even premium and natural brands are not exempt. Heavy metals were found in high percentages, with lead present in 99% of samples. Dry cat food had significantly higher lead levels compared to wet varieties. Fish-based products exhibited the highest mercury and cadmium levels, while poultry-based foods generally met purity standards better. Glyphosate was detected in over a third of the products, and phthalates were found in about half. Experts recommend varying protein sources and checking ingredient lists to minimize exposure.
