Once a wealthy figure, he controlled the Foresta Nehoiu timber factory and faced multiple legal issues, culminating in terrorism charges. Following his disappearance, local residents vandalized and sold factory equipment, including valuable wood dryers. Hayssam's properties were sold, with one house purchased by a local priest needing extensive repairs due to damage. Another property was acquired by a businessman from Buzău.
