Costeluș, a notorious criminal, gained fame on TikTok but had a violent past, including leading a criminal group from prison. In December 2022, he threatened Betty Stoian, Salam's daughter, after she made a joke about him online. Despite a police report filed by Salam, the case was eventually closed. Costeluș died on September 5 due to severe septicemia following an infection.
