Ce s-a ales de Al-Qaeda la 25 de ani de la 11 septembrie. Gruparea rămâne "remarcabil de influentă"

Twenty-five years after the September 11 attacks, Al-Qaeda remains influential despite losing key leaders and facing competition from ISIS. The group continues to inspire jihadist movements, particularly in Africa, adapting to become harder to combat. Although weakened, Al-Qaeda has expanded its reach through affiliates and has been involved in numerous attacks worldwide. Its influence peaked around 2013, but it has since evolved to rely on a decentralized network of operatives. Al-Qaeda's presence persists in regions like Somalia and the Sahel, with ongoing ideological support and training for affiliated groups. Experts note that while its power has diminished, Al-Qaeda remains remarkably influential.
