Ce români scapă de armată în caz de război? Pedepsele pentru cei care nu sunt în aceste situații, dar nu luptă • Newsweek România

In the event of war, Romanian law mandates the mobilization of young men aged 18 to 35, with strict penalties for evasion. However, certain individuals are exempt from military service, including those with severe medical issues and clergy members. Additionally, young men facing significant family hardships may receive deferments. Those who refuse military service for religious reasons can perform alternative service instead. Currently, Romania's military consists of about 90,000 active personnel, but in a war scenario, at least 300,000 soldiers would be required.
