Sorin Grindeanu, the PSD president, stated that the party will only support projects benefiting Romania and will not endorse mistakes made by Bolojan. He emphasized the need for Parliament to address urgent issues ignored by the former Prime Minister. Grindeanu confirmed that PSD will analyze government projects before voting and will not approve those that weaken state institutions or favor party interests. The party supports necessary reforms, including changes to the Administrative Code and laws on performance rewards and decarbonization, while insisting on respecting the results of the Bucharest referendum regarding urban planning. Additionally, PSD will only vote for the Integrity Law if it aligns with ANI and EU Court decisions, and the Salary Law will be supported only with accepted union amendments. Grindeanu called for the adoption of PSD's proposals to extend the 9% VAT for housing and other measures during the extraordinary session.
