Ce pensie medie ar putea avea un român în 2032. Aproape un milion de "decreței" se pregătesc de pensionare
Romania faces a potential pension crisis as nearly one million 'decreței' prepare to retire by 2032, increasing pressure on the pension system. Experts warn that the aging population and low workforce participation may necessitate raising the retirement age. Currently, the standard retirement age is 65 for men and 63 for women, but many European countries have already increased it to 67. The state requires 155 billion lei annually for pensions, which could rise to 200 billion if the number of retirees increases. Without reforms, the average pension could drop significantly, reflecting the demographic challenges Romania faces.
