New details emerge following the capture of Dorel Dorin Moldovan, a 28-year-old inmate who escaped while working in Baia Mare. Police and other forces searched for him for 48 hours. He contacted his family and attempted to flee the country. On August 21, police organized operations involving around 170 personnel, leading to his discovery in a vacant lot near Baia Mare. He had been in touch with acquaintances who helped him communicate with his family for assistance in leaving the country. Upon his capture, he was subdued and handcuffed without incident. The operation benefited from support from various local authorities and specialized units.
