Ce este „regula fermoarului” în trafic și cum vor fi sancționați șoferii care nu o respectă. Manevra urmează să devină obligatorie • Știri Brașov Biz Brasov

Romanian drivers may soon be required to follow the 'zipper rule' in traffic, allowing vehicles to merge alternately when a lane closes. This rule aims to reduce congestion and conflicts among drivers. The project has passed the Senate and received favorable reports in the Chamber of Deputies, but it is not yet enforceable. Once approved, violations could result in fines ranging from 432.50 to 648.75 lei. The rule will also apply in certain unsignalized intersections, promoting orderly merging from secondary roads. Similar regulations exist in several European countries, and the goal is to create a clear guideline for drivers to follow during lane closures.
