The analysis revealed high microbial loads in the telemea, including Staphylococcus aureus, correlating with the rapid onset of symptoms. Further inspections at the cheese supplier found hygiene issues, including mold and yeast on surfaces and contaminated water. The supplier was fined and had production suspended until issues were resolved. Over 20 guests experienced symptoms like vomiting and diarrhea, but none required hospitalization.
