Gheorghe Moldovan, in the midst of a divorce from Irina Vasilcan, tragically took his own life after struggling to accept the separation. The couple attended a wedding separately the night before his death, where they both spoke with a pastor about seeking help for their marriage. Irina later revealed that she felt manipulated and emotionally abused during their marriage, and she hesitated to attend his funeral due to concerns for her safety and the emotional well-being of their three daughters. Despite her efforts to support his family, she ultimately could not attend the funeral, fearing for her and her children's mental health.
