Grindeanu expressed disappointment over the nomination of Siegfried Mureșan, criticizing the continued selection of right-wing candidates by Dan. He clarified that he did not present a majority during the consultations but emphasized that PSD should have been considered for the role. The PSD's National Permanent Bureau unanimously recommended not supporting Mureșan's government, with a final decision pending from the National Political Council.
