The current legislation mandates a weighted average price for all hours, which Hidroelectrica argues does not accurately represent solar energy production. The company believes that basing payments on actual production hours would better align with market conditions. ANRE stated that any changes would require legal amendments, which are not currently feasible. The number of prosumers in Romania has reached nearly 360,000, with a total capacity exceeding 4,000 MW.
