CCR ar putea decide miercuri dacă autoritățile locale pot primi gratuit 20% din plajele Mării Negre • Newsweek România
The Romanian Constitutional Court may rule on Wednesday regarding a law that allows local authorities to receive 20% of Black Sea beaches for free. This follows a constitutional challenge from President Nicușor Dan concerning the amendment of a government ordinance on beach usage. The proposed legislation would enable local public administration to request up to 20% of tourist beaches for public use. However, the president argues that since the state owns these beaches, local authorities, which are not public utility institutions, should not receive such land. He believes this legislative solution violates constitutional provisions regarding public property.
