CCR a validat „amendamentul Fritz”, care îl poate lăsa fără mandatul de primar. Liderul USR acuză „dictatura PSD” și anunță că merge la CEDO

The Constitutional Court upheld a provision of the new Integrity Law that mandates the removal of elected officials found incompatible or in conflict of interest before the law's enactment. This decision affects Timișoara's mayor, Dominic Fritz, who claims it is a political abuse and plans to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights. The court also declared unconstitutional an amendment requiring spouses of officials to declare assets. Fritz criticized the ruling as a dangerous precedent and accused the ruling party, PSD, of seeking total power. He plans to continue his legal battle in Europe.
