CCR a publicat motivarea deciziior privind numirile la SRTV și SRR. Parlamentul trebuie să refacă procedura
The Constitutional Court of Romania declared the Parliament's decisions on the appointments to the boards of SRTV and SRR unconstitutional, citing violations of the Constitution. The Court emphasized that the selection process did not adhere to legal requirements and the principle of the rule of law. As a result, the appointments are void as of the decision's publication date, necessitating a new selection process by Parliament. The Court noted discrepancies in the representation of parliamentary groups in the boards, which did not reflect their proportionality in Parliament. The Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) has called for the urgent publication of the Court's decisions, highlighting delays in the process despite the ruling's significance.
