The Romanian Constitutional Court discussed the constitutionality of the Chamber of Deputies' leadership election and postponed the decision to October 22, 2026. Additionally, the court delayed the review of a law concerning national interests in economic activities until November 18, 2026. This law prohibits the sale of state-held shares in various companies until the end of 2027. Another postponed case involves the constitutionality of amendments to a government emergency ordinance on energy sector decarbonization, also raised by the President of Romania.
