CCIR susține că singurul obiectiv al zborului privat spre Mykonos a fost „atragerea de investiții străine în România”

The Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIR) stated that the private flight to Mykonos aimed solely to attract foreign investments to Romania. They expressed regret over the politicization of the issue and emphasized that the trip was a financial effort to showcase Romania's investment advantages. All expenses were covered by CCIR's own revenues, and costs were calculated per flight hour, regardless of passenger numbers. The controversy arose after details of the flight, which included several notable figures, were made public. Constitutional Court judge Cristian Deliorga clarified that his participation was private and unrelated to his judicial role, acknowledging that CCIR funded the flight without further details.
