Cazurile de infectare cu febra dengue, în creştere în Malaezia
The number of dengue fever infections has surged in Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley, prompting health warnings from Malaysia's Ministry of Health. Since early August, there have been 58,079 cases, a 56.2% increase from the previous year, with 55 related deaths. Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya saw a 106% rise in cases, while Selangor reported a 61% increase. The ministry has implemented targeted measures for prevention and control, but the risk remains high due to rising cases in other states. Factors like unpredictable weather and stagnant water sources are contributing to the mosquito population and disease spread. The ministry will continue to monitor the situation closely.
