Cazul Euroins: Arbitrajul de la Sofia, blocat în România. Ce se întâmplă cu reasigurarea
The Bucharest Tribunal has rejected the request of Euroins Romania's former Bulgarian group for recognition of an arbitration ruling from Sofia, allowing the ongoing litigation regarding the reinsurance contract to continue in Romania. CITR, the judicial liquidator, considers the contract fraudulent and is seeking its annulment. Additionally, the court reduced the initially set judicial fee from 12.7 million euros to approximately 1,534 euros, preserving more assets for creditors. The decision means the Sofia ruling is not recognized in Romania, enabling further examination of the reinsurance contract's validity.
