A shocking case in Bucharest involved a woman who was tied up and brutally beaten by her partner. The incident occurred on September 24-25 in Sector 5. After managing to escape, she reported the abuse to the police with the help of two individuals. The 41-year-old aggressor was arrested shortly after the report. He had tied the woman up out of jealousy and assaulted her with a weapon and his fists, threatening her life. Medical evaluations indicated she would need 40-45 days of care for her injuries. A temporary protection order was issued against the man, who was subsequently detained for 30 days as investigations continue for domestic violence and illegal deprivation of liberty.
