A man from Iași was ordered to pay 3,362.73 lei for damages caused by a mosquito net that fell from his apartment window onto a Mazda CX 30. The insurance company Omniasig covered the repair costs and sought reimbursement from the net's owner, Ionuț T. He acknowledged the incident but contested the damage amount, arguing that the repairs included unrelated costs. The court upheld the insurance claim, stating that the net caused the damage, and Ionuț T. was required to pay the full amount, which will be adjusted for inflation. He has appealed the decision to the Tribunal.
