The number of Romanians participating in the optional private pension system (Pillar III) has surpassed 1.11 million by the end of July 2023, showing an increase from the previous month. NN remains the leader in client numbers, while BT Pensii has reached nearly 230,000 clients, surpassing BCR Plus. The net assets of the ten Pillar III pension funds have risen to over 9.12 billion lei, up from 8.76 billion lei in June.
