Dragoș Pîslaru discussed the status of Romania's PNRR, indicating that the country could reach 97.92% completion by the end of August. While grant projects are completed, concerns remain regarding the adoption of necessary reforms. Romania has been allocated 13.57 billion euros, but only 10.6 billion euros will be requested after the fifth payment request. Pîslaru emphasized the importance of adopting reforms to avoid issues with the final payment request, particularly regarding decarbonization amendments. He noted that all European-funded projects will be completed by the end of August, but political will is needed for the crucial Salary Law.
