Câte ore trebuie să dormi, de fapt? Prea puțin sau prea mult poate afecta grav sănătatea
Sleep is crucial for both physical and mental health, with studies indicating that 6 to 8 hours of quality sleep reduces the risk of various diseases. Research from Peking University analyzed over 95,000 UK volunteers, revealing that REM sleep is linked to a lower risk of 83 health conditions, including dementia and cardiovascular diseases. Regularly sleeping 6 to 8 hours was associated with the lowest health risks, while less than 5 hours increased vulnerability to 37 health issues. Even sleeping more than 8 hours posed risks, highlighting the importance of both sleep duration and quality.
