Câte autobuze și tramvaie au aer condiționat în București și de ce a renunțat primăria să instaleze aparate pe tramvaiele vechi

In Bucharest, 80% of buses and less than half of trams have air conditioning. The city has decided against installing AC in older trams due to cost and safety concerns. Newer vehicles, purchased since 2018, are equipped with functional AC systems. The city plans to acquire more new trams and trolleybuses with EU funds, but the process is slow. Previous attempts to retrofit older vehicles with AC were halted after safety issues arose, including fires in some trams.
