He questions the justification for such high salaries, especially in light of the government's austerity measures. Vice Prime Minister Oana Gheorghiu defended the salaries, stating they are warranted for high-performing companies. Silegeanu argues that no justification can rationalize salaries of 10,000-20,000 euros for public employees, especially amid significant losses in state companies.
