Interim Minister of Internal Affairs, Cătălin Predoiu, emphasized the need to adapt legislation to new military threats posed by drones. He highlighted the importance of understanding the military nature of these threats and the need for a comprehensive defense concept. Predoiu confirmed that the Ministry will participate in parliamentary discussions and provide necessary information. A Russian drone with explosives was found in Vaslui and detonated by authorities. Additionally, Spanish forces monitored drone attacks near the Romanian-Ukrainian border, although the drones did not enter national airspace.
