Cătălin Predoiu highlighted August as a busy month for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, marked by interventions related to drones, wildfires, and drug operations. Thousands of law enforcement personnel were active daily, addressing various incidents, including military drone failures and forest fires. Significant drug trafficking operations led to the seizure of nearly two tons of drugs. Additionally, security was ensured at numerous festivals, and rescue missions were conducted for stranded sailors. Predoiu expressed gratitude to MAI employees for their efforts during this challenging period.
