Cătălin Preda won the gold medal in high diving at the European Swimming Championships, achieving a score of 411.60 points. The competition took place over two days, with the final dives on Saturday. Italian Andrea Barnaba secured the silver medal, while Frenchman Gary Hunt took bronze. Romanian Constantin Popovici finished in seventh place with 325.40 points. Both divers were accompanied by their coaches and a physiotherapist.
