The legislation specifies that the production must be registered in the agricultural registry and is strictly for personal use. Violations of these regulations can lead to fines and other penalties, but not all home producers will face automatic sanctions. The distinction between personal consumption and commercial production remains crucial, as selling the alcohol incurs different tax obligations.
