Cât poate rezista România fără țițeiul kazah?
Kazakhstan's halt on oil exports to Romania raises concerns about diesel shortages, despite Romania's 90-day fuel stock. Expert Dumitru Chisăliță warns that without Kazakh oil, vulnerabilities may arise, particularly for diesel, while gasoline supplies remain stable. Romania's oil production covers only a fraction of its needs, heavily relying on imports, mainly from Kazakhstan. The analysis indicates that if oil imports are disrupted for six months, diesel shortages could occur by December 2026, affecting specific regions more than others. Aviation fuel also poses a risk, depending on refinery operations.
