Electric vehicles are achieving new autonomy records, with the BMW iX3, Mercedes CLA, and Tesla Model Y impressing in tests in Italy. The BMW iX3 set a benchmark by covering 586 kilometers on a single charge, while the Mercedes CLA followed closely with 577 kilometers. The Tesla Model Y managed approximately 495 kilometers, showcasing that efficiency factors also play a crucial role in range. The test highlights the growing capability of electric vehicles for long-distance travel without the need for charging stops. In Romania, interest in electric cars is rising, supported by expanding charging infrastructure.
