The country imported 92,393 tons of raw milk, a 39.8% increase compared to the same period last year. Local farmers also increased their production significantly, contributing to a total of 171,200 tons of consumer milk, up 6.4%. Despite the ease of importing, local farmer support remains a priority for companies like Olympus Foods. Overall, production of dairy products such as cream, yogurt, and cheese also saw increases, with some exceptions.
