As of September 25, gasoline costs 10.03 lei/liter and diesel 10.95 lei/liter, while LPG averages 4.71 lei/liter, leading to savings of 266 lei per full tank compared to gasoline and 312 lei compared to diesel. Meanwhile, diesel prices in the EU have reached a record high of 2.23 euros per liter, influenced by energy shocks from conflicts in the Middle East and Ukraine. Countries like Denmark and Finland report the highest consumer prices, while others like Spain and Sweden see increases but remain below 2022 peaks.
