Cât de sănătoase sunt pâinea, lactatele și mezelurile din magazinele românești față de cele din celelalte state UE - Economica.net
A recent analysis by the Joint Research Centre highlights significant differences in nutrient content on food labels across European countries. The study examined food offerings in 21 EU member states, including Romania, from 2016 to 2023, focusing on five key food categories. It found that while there is potential for improving nutritional profiles, variations in nutrient content exist both between countries and within the same food category. Romania has the sweetest breakfast cereals, with an average sugar content of 19g per 100g, despite a decrease over the years. The analysis also noted trends in fat and salt content, with some countries increasing these levels. Overall, the findings suggest a need for reformulation policies to promote healthier food options across Europe.
