Cât de dependentă este România de multinaționale: Poziția țării noastre în noul clasament Eurostat
Romania has one of the highest shares of jobs in foreign-controlled companies within the EU, at 28%, significantly above the EU average of 16%. This figure is nearly double the European average and three times higher than in Greece, which has only 8%. The data from Eurostat highlights the economic impact of foreign investors, despite them representing just 1% of EU companies. These foreign-controlled firms account for 16% of the workforce and generate 24% of the total added value in the EU. Romania's reliance on foreign capital is evident, particularly in sectors like automotive and services, but a high percentage of jobs in these companies does not necessarily correlate with better economic performance or higher wages.
